What We Do
Mycelium Outreach provides a variety of educational experiences for all ages, engaging communities facing environmental issues, climate change, and social inequality. By melding theory with practice, and stories with action, we work across cultural and political divides for the promise of a brighter future.
Sustainability Workshops
Sustainability is more than just a buzzword. It is the best means to move away from fossil fuel dependency toward community resiliency, health, happiness, and equality. We offer a variety of workshops that provide groups with a basic understanding of energy literacy, conservation, and local food ways along with the communication tools necessary to share sustainability concepts across political and cultural divides.
Story-based Presentations
Human connection is one of the most important aspects of a more sustainable future. Through our story of transformative change we hope to inspire audiences about the issues of resource extraction, pollution, extreme poverty, and negative environmental health outcomes. By sharing our story, we hope to inspire others to share theirs as well, inspiring action whenever and wherever it is needed.
Mobile Energy Science Classroom*

Focused on bringing energy literacy to a wider audience, our mobile energy science classroom (M.E.S.C) will provide hands-on learning experiences for all ages in fun and challenging ways. By remaining highly mobile, we will bring energy science to any location, including public parks, campgrounds, market squares, and public events and gatherings!
